Dr. Melissa Ziegler

Bio
Dr. Melissa Ziegler is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Kinesiotherapy program at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). She holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration, with research on physical activity patterns among college students, and degrees in Human Performance with specializations in Exercise Science and Kinesiotherapy. With expertise in cardiopulmonary testing and cardiac rehab, she teaches courses like Chronic Disease Management. A Distinguished Teaching Scholar through ACUE, she is also a Fellow of the Medical Fitness Association and serves on multiple boards.
