Bio
Dr. Jason L. Pearce, DSW, LCSW, is the MSW Program Coordinator and Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Social Work. His work focuses on preparing students for contemporary social work practice through evidence-based education, strong clinical reasoning, and the integration of theory with applied learning. Drawing on extensive clinical, administrative, and leadership experience across military and civilian behavioral health settings, Dr. Pearce brings a practice-informed perspective to both teaching and program leadership. His scholarly and professional interests center on clinical assessment and case formulation, social work education and pedagogy, identity development, innovative mental health interventions, and strengthening the preparation of social workers for advanced clinical practice.
