Costs related to attendance:
Note: The amounts listed for tuition, fees, and other expenses are initial estimates of costs related to attendance of the USM PA program. These amounts are subject to change and will be updated as needed following approval by the PA program and the University.
During the clinical phase, students will be required to relocate or commute frequently for clinical rotations. As such, transportation and housing costs are increased during the clinical phase.
Transportation costs for the didactic phase are based on commuting to and from campus. Transportation costs for the clinical phase are based on travel to distant locations (more than 50 miles from campus) for at least 4 of the 8 required rotations at approximately $2000 - $3000 per distant rotation.
Housing costs are estimated based on $800-$1200 monthly rent and utilities during the didactic phase (17 months) and $1000-$1400 during the clinical phase (12 months) for rotations.
These estimated expenses are subject to change and do not include student preferences for transportation and housing.
