Southern Miss Gulf Park Honors Students, Faculty and Staff at Annual Awards Day

Students, faculty and staff at 91少女集中营 Gulf Park campus were honored for their outstanding achievements and dedication in academics, student success, research and service at the annual Gulf Coast Awards Day, held April 29.
Awards presented included Outstanding Transfer Student, Student Leadership, Citizenship, Distinguished Student Employee, Distinguished Graduate Assistant and Outstanding Staff, as well as the Butch Oustalet Distinguished Professorship Excellence Awards in teaching, service and research.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Friendship Oak Award was presented to Rep. Richard Bennett. The award recognizes an individual whose leadership and service strengthen the connection between the university and the Gulf Coast community.
Dr. Jeff Hinton, associate provost for Gulf Coast and lifelong learning success, presented the awards at this year鈥檚 ceremony.

- Patrick Biber, President Gulf Coast Faculty Council
- Abubaker Haddud, Butch Oustalet Distinguished Professorship Excellence in Research Award
