The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) is the governing body for sororities on campus affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). CPC organizations emphasize leadership development, academic excellence, sisterhood, and community service. Collectively, these sororities support large-scale national philanthropic organizations focused on women’s health, children’s welfare, education, and disease research. While each chapter has its own designated national philanthropy, CPC, as a council, promotes collaboration in campus-wide service initiatives, fundraising efforts, and educational programming centered on wellness, advocacy, and student engagement.

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) serves as the governing body for fraternities affiliated with the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). IFC organizations prioritize leadership development, scholarship, brotherhood, and civic responsibility. Each fraternity maintains its own national philanthropic partnerships, often supporting initiatives related to children’s health, disability advocacy, cancer research, veterans’ services, and educational advancement. As a collective body, IFC promotes coordinated service projects, philanthropy events, and risk-reduction education that foster accountability, community engagement, and positive campus impact.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) comprises nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations, collectively known as the Divine Nine. NPHC was created to foster cooperative action and unify the collective impact of Black fraternities and sororities during a time of racial segregation and limited access to higher education. These organizations were established not only to promote scholarship and fellowship, but also to address social inequities affecting Black communities across the United States and globally. Rooted in the principles of service, scholarship, leadership, and social justice, NPHC organizations have historically played a significant role in civil rights advocacy, voter education, public health initiatives, and economic empowerment. NPHC shares a collective commitment to community impact, cultural preservation, and the advancement of opportunities for historically underserved communities.
