The Art & Design Faculty Show is a biennial exhibition featuring recent works by USM studio art faculty and includes drawings, paintings, poetry, and sculpture.

Andy Before Warhol captures the whimsy and spontaneity of Andy Warhol's art, just before he broke into the pop arts scene in the 1960s. The work featured in this exhibit includes two limited edition copies of his self-published books as well as materials he created for three unpublished children's picture books. Holiday greeting cards, lithographic prints, and watercolor illustrations are also on display. The items features here were bequeathed to the de Grummond Children's Literature Collection by Diana Klemin, who worked closely with Warhol in her role as art director at Doubleday publishing house.

This greatly anticipated annual event is presented each spring and allows students to exhibit their creative achievements in the visual arts. The student show features work from studio courses in art foundation, drawing, painting, printmaking, digital photography, ceramics, sculpture, and graphic design.
