Andy Before Warhol captures the whimsy and spontaneity of Andy Warhol's art, just before he broke into the pop arts scene in the 1960s. The work featured in this exhibit includes two limited edition copies of his self-published books as well as materials he created for three unpublished children's picture books. Holiday greeting cards, lithographic prints, and watercolor illustrations are also on display. The items features here were bequeathed to the de Grummond Children's Literature Collection by Diana Klemin, who worked closely with Warhol in her role as art director at Doubleday publishing house.

The student show features work from studio courses in art foundation, drawing, painting, printmaking, digital photography, ceramics, sculpture, and graphic design.
